Raised in Abilene, Texas, Dr. David Harrison attended Texas A&M University where he earned his degree in Biomedical Science in 1992 then continued on to receive his degree in Veterinary Medicine in May 1995. Upon graduation, he began work as an associate veterinarian in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Harrison began as staff veterinarian at DeZavala-Shavano Veterinary Clinic in March 1996, then purchased the clinic in December 1996. In November 2011, the clinic moved from its office on DeZavala Rd into our newly constructed current location on Lockhill Selma Rd.
Dr. Harrison specializes in small animal medicine with an emphasis on dental care and preventative medicine.
Along with his wife and sons, Dr. Harrison owns a Dachsund and DSH cat.
