Waiting Area We strive to see appointments in a timely manner, but should you find you have to wait a few minutes, we hope you will find our waiting area comfortable. For your convenience, we have a coffee bar, restroom, water fountains and phone. Your children can be entertained in the kid’s play area where they can play, watch tv or observe the cats play in our windowed cat play area. Dog and Cat Kennels In our 2500 sq.ft. indoor boarding facility, dogs and cats are kept in separate areas which are heated and cooled for maximum comfort. Boarding facility sizes range from medium cages to spacious suites. Cat Kennels Standard features include a built-in feeding/watering ledge, resting shelf and privacy area for litter. Each condo consists of a top and bottom unit with coated wire mesh doors for healthy air circulation. Exam Rooms Because we realize much of your visit will be spent in an exam room, we have tried to make each room as comfortable as possible. We have 4 exam rooms and 1 consultation room. The consultation room is decorated in more of a home decor with a leather-style couch, end table and lamp. Laboratory and Pharmacy We know how important it is to get diagnostic results and the needed medicine for your pet fast when they are not feeling well. Therefore, a majority of our diagnostic testing is done on-site, and our pharmacy is stocked with a variety of medications, including heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Treatment Area The treatment area is the action center of the clinic. In here, we administer a variety of medical treatments and prepare pets for surgery. ICU Area Spanning a large part of the treatment area is our ICU ward where doctors and technicians can observe recovering surgical and sick patients throughout the day through large glass windows. Dental Suite Off to the side of the treatment area is our dental suite where pets receive dental x-rays, cleanings and, when needed, tooth extractions. Digital Radiography Room Our on-site radiography is equipped with a digital imaging system. This allows almost instant processing of radiographs; thus, decreasing handling and anesthetic time for your pet. Digital images can be enlarged and/or manipulated for more precise studies. The images are easily transferred to any computer workstation in the clinic, and can be e-mailed to you or a specialist when needed.4408 Lockhill Selma Rd San Antonio, Texas 78249
